Yoga & Meditation for Stress Management Workshop

Looking for an alternative to Friday evening happy hour at the bars? Party like a yogi in this multi-dimensional workshop. You will leave feeling refreshed and relaxed … and with no regrets in the morning! 🙂

Facilitated by Don Meyer, RN, MBA/MS, CCM, RYT-200, participants will be introduced to recent research into the neuroscience of yoga and meditation as it relates to stress response. Experience Don’s exceptional ability to make complex scientific concepts such as bidirectional autonomic and neuroendocrine pathways, top-down and bottomup mechanisms, neuroplasticity, and allostatic load easy to understand and relevant to everyday practice. Sessions will consist of 20-30 minutes of presentation followed by 45-60 minutes of asana and concluding with 20-30 minutes of mediation.

All levels of practice from beginner to expert are welcome. Bring your yoga mat and wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
